Happy Thursday! Are you ready for the 4th of July weekend? I am! I’m super excited to complete Vas and Julia’s wedding posts!! If you’ve missed the previous posts, please check out part one and part two. I won’t blab too much this time… instead I will just let you enjoy the photos. 😀

The decor was fabulous!!

Vas is such a romantic! He came charging in carrying Julia like Prince Charming. I LOVED it!!

The first dance-

Julia’s grandmother was SO cool!! She was on the dance floor the entire night! She is pretty amazing, full of life and such an inspiration to me. I want to always have fun no matter what age I am!

I can’t even begin to tell you how rad Jamaicans are. They are some of the friendliest, most laid back and fun people I have ever met! They are a huge reason I miss Jamaica and will definitely go back again. One of the servers at the reception decided to join in… something else about them: THEY CAN DANCE… fo sho.

So a HUGE thanks to Laura for pointing out the Jamaican “rasta rainbow” to the left in the light flare! I did NOT even notice that til she pointed it out. How amazing is THAT????

This wedding was so incredibly special and unique with the fact that Vas is from Russia and Julia is from Ukraine. They met in the USA, got engaged in Paris and were married in Jamaica. There is no doubt this couple is up for an adventure as one of their favorite things to do together is travel the world. I love that! They had family and friends fly from ALL OVER THE WORLD to come and take part of their special day. Again I, along with Michael, feel HONORED that we got to be two of those lucky people to experience this beautiful occasion.

Jewls and Vas- you guys are AMAZING and we really appreciate you giving us this amazing honor. : )

And so part two begins…

Mikey shot this of Julia and her father as they waited to walk down the aisle.

Vas as he made his way to the front to wait for his soulmate.

I love this shot Mikey took of the flower girl with her mom right before she headed towards me…

She was SO CUTE and came all the way from Germany to be a part of their big day.

Looove this. (Good job Mikey!)

The location and time of day was perfect.

And of course, as you know… I love all the pink!

I have to give Michael mad props for taking this shot – it’s wicked good!

They’re married!!!

They released two doves right after they were pronounced husband and wife. I adore this shot of Julia trying to calm the dove.

Mikey shot it from this angle…

And I shot it from the front! Such an amazing moment!

Julia is also Jewish so they incorporated the breaking of the glass as well… cool huh???

How happy do they look? You can’t help but smile.

As I shot a few photos of the newlyweds, Mikey got this shot that I think is hilarious of the flower girl. He is soooo good at capturing children and all of their wonderful emotions!

A night shot of the cocktail hour.

The storm that had previously passed right over us before the ceremony moved further down the beach and by this time you could see the lightning. I took this opportunity to attempt capturing it and I’m proud to say I did it!! Hollla!! I know most of you are toootttallly not impressed right now but I’m still going to show it off cause it’s my blog and I can! Ha!

Next up: the reception & trash the gown shoot!!

After spending several days with Julia and Vas, it’s evident to me, and the world, that these two were made for each other. Julia’s spirit, drive and the way she makes you feel when you’re around her… are just a few of the things Vas told me that he adores about the woman of his dreams. They met 7 years ago through friends at school and have been in love ever since. Vas has taken Julia all over the world to see places like Italy, Spain, Germany, the Caribbean and even proposed to her under the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Is he romantic or what?! As I got to spend some time with them, I began to grow infatuated with them not only as individuals, but as a couple. I feel truly honored and blessed to have been given the opportunity to know such beautiful people, inside and out. I have AMAZING clients, who I consider friends… how did I get so lucky?

Vas and Julia’s wedding was held in Negril, Jamaica. I will be blogging their event in parts because I picked out way too many favorites to post all at once.

destination_wedding_photographer0001 destination_wedding_photographer0002We arrived the day of the rehearsal, so I snapped a few photos while they rehearsed everything–

THE BIG DAY- getting ready

Beautiful Julia-

Her super fab shoes from my favorite store in the whole world… ALDO. I knew I liked this girl for a reason. ; )

I was in LOVE with her mermaid style wedding gown. LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT.

destination_wedding_photographer0015 destination_wedding_photographer0016

It started POURING about 45 min before the ceremony, and lasted for about 45 minutes. In Negril, it does that almost every afternoon – so it wasn’t a surprise. We all kept our fingers crossed and said a few prayers believing it was going to pass. Well, it did, YAY! Only making the ceremony start 30 minutes late… everyone was relieved it passed. It actually was a blessing in disguise because it ended up making a beautiful sunset, which is what Negril is actually famous for. You’ll see photos of that later.

As Julia finished up, I came downstairs to see what Vas was up to. My best friend and second shooter, Michael, captured this shot of Vas as he waited for his bride-to-be.

They opted to do a “First Look” right before the ceremony. I totally dig when my couples decide to do this because it not only gives me the opportunity to capture some really amazing and emotional pictures, but it allows the bride and groom to share such an intimate and special moment of seeing each other in private right before they commit to each other forever in front of a crowd.

Michael got this shot of Vas as Julia made her way down the stairs.

I just love this moment!!

I LOVE to travel… the more I do it, the more I fall in love with it. I absolutely cannot get enough of it. There are SO MANY places I want to go!! I started making a list of all the cities and countries I want to visit and began to wonder if I would live long enough to go to them all! I am just so grateful God made this beautiful planet for us to live on. There is so much out there to see and adventure to experience. Not only do I obsess over seeing new places, but every time I go somewhere new, I am constantly reminded of how blessed I am. There are SO many people in the world who don’t have a smidget of what I am so fortunate to be blessed with. Food, freedom, material things — but more importantly, I am LOVED by so many wonderful people in my life who I don’t know what I would do without. I never want to take any of them for granted and God forgive me if I do. I know it’s only because of Him that I am so lucky. I am amazed at how many special people He sent into my life… that changed me forever. I am who I am because of these incredible souls and would take a bullet for them in a heartbeat.

People are who matter in this world and nothing else in the end. That’s why I also feel extremely blessed to have been given the opportunity to do what I do and share the gifts and talents God gave me. I would never trade my job in the world. I have never been happier than I am now and it is my goal to constantly share that happiness with everyone I encounter. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to even read my silly little blog and all of the support and encouragement I receive daily from so many wonderful people. I am so appreciative and grateful to you ALL.

To end this little post, here is a photo from the ceremony location where Vas and Julia’s recent wedding was held. I’ll be blogging their photos soon!

I’m so excited that boudoir is becoming such a huge part of my business! It’s always been a dream of mine – so I couldn’t be more thrilled that I get to call myself a “boudoir photographer”. The following boudoir album recently came in and I wanted to share a few images of it. I think it turned out super fab! Soon I will have my boudoir website and blog done which will be full of information and pictures. I can’t wait because I think you’re all going to love it!!

The following album is an 8×8 bombshell designer album. It’s super chic, sexy and completely unique! It comes in one of my larger packages and is custom designed for every client. I adooooore this album!! Every guy would love to have a gift like this!

Pink leather? Yes please!! (Don’t worry, if you aren’t a fan of pink, there are plenty of other color options!) And don’t you just love that cute little slip it comes in?

A couple of days ago I blogged Brooklyn & Alexa’s shoot from the beach. (See below.) I had hard time picking a few for the blog because every single shot was adorable. You’ll see what I mean because I decided to put together a slideshow of all of their pictures from the shoot. Look for more slideshows in the future because I decided this is something I should have started doing a long time ago.
