As I sit here, I reflect on all you have done in my life and continue to do on a daily basis. I am truly blown away by the grace you have deeply bestowed upon my life. When I really begin to think about the depth of your love, my mind begins to go wild because it cannot fathom it. I try so very hard, but it’s so extremely impossible. It’s all I can do but just cry. I feel so unbelievably unworthy of your mercy, grace and love in my life. I do not deserve one single ounce of it but I am so so so deeply grateful for it. You are an amazing God. There are no words that could ever describe just how truly amazing. My beating heart is one of a million testaments of your incredible wonder. Just the very thought that you love me enough to give me the next breath that I will breathe, is more than my mind can grasp. I’m so humbled.

Thank you for creating me. Thank you for giving my life meaning and for having a plan for me. Thank you for taking care of me every step of the way…. from the moment my life began in my mother’s womb, until now. Thank you for giving me a new day each morning. Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for challenges, as they teach me to grow and be stronger. Thank you for teaching me what true, unconditional love means and is, because you show it to me every single day. Thank you for believing in me and showing me what my true potential is capable of. Thank you for giving me daily joy, I am so happy because of you. Thank you for giving me a heart full of dreams, and the passion to chase after them. Thank you for opening my eyes to your truth, as I would never want to live blindly in a dark world, unaware of your love. Thank you for saving me, for it is truly the greatest gift I have ever been given. Thank you for inspiring me with your majestic beauty… it is everywhere I look. Thank you for your many blessings, everything that I am is because of you. Thank you for being the best friend I could ever possibly have. Thank you for always showing up right when I need you. Thank you for always speaking to me, even in the most random of ways. Thank you that even when I fall, you are there to pick me up again. Thank you for teaching me what true feminine beauty is, and giving me a heart to show the women of this world that they ARE beautiful because you created them to be. Thank you for teaching me compassion for others. Thank you for giving me freedom. Thank you for always protecting me and keeping me safe. God, thank you for loving me. I could never possibly thank you enough for all you have done for me.

I want to be more like you. Please continue to teach me, mold me, shape me into the woman you want me to be. I want to live the life you intended me to live. I want to forever follow your will for my life. Please help me use this life you gave me for your honor. As I do not want to ever waste one single moment I have been given. Never let me forget the precious value of this life… never let me take it for granted.

Please forgive me for my shortcomings… for not always trusting you. For the many many mistakes I have made in my life, and the ones I know I will make in the future. But mostly forgive me for the times I have not honored you. I am so thankful you never turn your back on me no matter how many times I mess up. I am truly so unworthy of your unconditional love. You are so beautiful and I am so humbled by your obvious presence in my life. I want to be at your side forever.  I want to be lost in you.  Please never let me go. For at your side, I know I will always find joy, peace, hope, inspiration, dreams and love.

My life belongs to you.

They met in college 4 years ago. At the time they were both in relationships with other people, but God had bigger plans down the road they couldn’t see quite yet. I always say God directs our steps, and this couldn’t be more true again with Caitlin and Robby. He lead them back together later on when they were both single and they have been together ever since. When Caitlin contacted me to shoot her wedding, I couldn’t have been more thrilled. She works in the wedding industry and it is always such a huge honor that someone in the same industry as me would want me to be a part of their big day. Caitlin and Robby are such a great couple and it was so much fun shooting their beautiful, intimate wedding.

Caitlin and Robby — thank you thank you!!! I am so excited I was able to be a part of your wedding and your memories. I hope you cherish these photos forever. xo

Caitlin and Robby opted for a First Look before the ceremony and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. If you’ve been a long time follower, you already know how I feel about this! BEST DECISION EVER.

Such a beautiful couple!

Caitlin and her beautiful sisters. All so stunning!

Wedding time!

Love.

Yay!! Have a fabulous day everyone!

I’ve been in Italy for 3 days now and absolutely loving every minute of it. My journey started in Rome and today I took a train to Verona which is where I am writing this from. : )  This country is just beautiful and I love the people here. They are so much fun and so friendly. Everything everyone has ever said about Italy is definitely true and them some. I cannot wait to continue my adventures and discover even more that I love about this incredible country.

I will leave you with a shot I took at one of my faaaavorite places I have seen so far. The Fontana Di Trevi in Rome. I LOVE THAT FOUNTAIN. It’s so enchanting. Ciao!

It was a very hot summer’s day in New Orleans and Danielle and Ray were finally tying the knot. They were relaxed but excited for this moment they had been planning for. Danielle and Ray might just be the most laid back clients I have ever worked with. They were so easy and fun to be around. The entire day went off without a hitch. Besides the heat, everything was absolutely perfect and I LOVE how their photos turned out. We started the day at their hotel in the French Quarter and then moved to their ceremony location at Holy Name of Jesus across from Audubon Park. Please enjoy a few of my favorites from their day.

Danielle and Ray – thank you for giving me such an amazing opportunity of documenting your wedding day. I am truly honored. I hope you cherish the memories I captured forever and ever. xo

Danielle and Ray decided to see each other before the ceremony. YAY!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that. Cannot say it enough. : ) Choosing to do a First Look before your ceremony is literally one of the best decisions you can make for your wedding day. It makes pretty much everything so much better and is just plain awesome. Trust me. : )

Love the next two shots Deirdre captured of Danielle with her father.

Love this sweet moment right after they were pronounced husband and wife.

Reception time!! We headed to the Audubon Tea Room for the celebration.

You know it’s a Louisiana wedding when the groom’s cake has crawfish and Tabasco sauce on it!

First dance!

I love how much Ray makes Danielle laugh.

Their band, the Bucktown All-Stars, is AWESOME. By far one of the best bands I have ever seen. They also performed at this wedding that I shot and I fell in love with them. They completely know how to make your guests have an amazing time. Highly recommend them!!!

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs.!!!

I just got back home a couple of days ago from an amazing 10 day trip to Peru, South America. I *think* I have finally recovered after getting some serious hours of sleep in my own bed. Gosh, I’d have to say that is definitely the personal possession I miss the most when traveling… my awesome bed!! No other bed ever compares. Zzzzzz…. anyways! We had an amazing time while there. I have so many photos, videos and stories to share with you! And I hope I am able to soon. This week is pretty insane as I prepare to leave the country again for a few weeks! EEK! But I promise to blog as much as I can before I do leave. Starting first with a wedding in New Orleans… that will be on the blog in the next couple of days! Stay tuned!!

Well hello Internet!! Yes, I am still alive. My poor blog is so sad right now as I have not been posting much. Sometimes you just need a break from the Internet though. Ya know? It’s been very refreshing for me to lay off the social media and blogging lately as I have been able to do so many other things that I have been needing to focus on. Needless to say this past week has been one of most inspiring of my life and for that I am so so so grateful. Even with that being said I am preparing to leave the country for a trip to Peru, South America. (Meaning, my blog is going to be quiet for a little longer.)   One of the things on my list of 100 things I want to accomplish by the age of 30 (see that list here) was to bring a group of people to one of my favorite countries, Peru. I am excited to say I am officially heading out to check that off my list now. : ) Seven amazing people decided to come on this little adventure with me and I could not be more excited. We are going to have such an amazing time and I look forward to sharing our journey when I return in 10 days. : ) I will definitely have tons of photos and video to share when we get back. I won’t have Internet access while there so please don’t miss me too much. ; )

Thanks SO SO much to everyone who made donations for the orphanage. We received tons of stuff and I just know the kids are going to love it so much. I pray God blesses each and every one of you for your giving. : ) xo

Be back soon mis amigos! ; )
