I am super proud of the following Newlywed session. Landon & Britt are not only gorgeous, but are amazing and were up for anything I wanted them to do! I wanted this shoot to be fun and different and really stretch my creativity. I was highly inspired the day we shot their pictures… the passion was oozing out of my heart and straight through my camera. At every shoot I really try my best to dig deep into the depths of my soul and pull out all my dreams and emotions and then capture it through others in my photographs. Every time you look at one of my photographs, you are seeing a window into my heart. It’s my desire to capture your heart with my art and not only tell my story, but the story of countless others. 

With that being said…  I must warn you, this session was one of the most passionate and steamy I’ve done… so be prepared for some sexiness in this post!! I hope you enjoy the pictures!

I’ve been wanting to post a blog about the wedding albums I design, and I have finally gotten around to it! I started using a new album company that I LOVE to print my albums and I just got my first one in a couple of days ago… so I of course got very motivated to blog it right away!

I think it’s so important to not only have a great photographer for your wedding day, but also an incredible product for your wedding album. I love this new album company for several reasons and one is because your album will come with a lifetime warranty against defects… which I personally think is super cool!! Chad and Aryanne are such a beautiful couple! I shot their wedding this past fall and we’ve been trying to wait until the weather got a little warmer to shoot their newlywed session. But for those of you who live in Louisiana, you know how wacky our weather is! The day we chose was beautiful, but VERY windy which made it a little more challenging. We still were able to capture some really beautiful moments and I just love how their pictures turned out. Here are just a few of my favorites.

I love the curves in Aryanne’s body in this one and how passionate the whole shot turned out.

No, really. I cannot express in words how happy I am to be blessed with the opportunity to get to do what I love and am so passionate about on a daily basis. I actually look forward to waking up everyday and getting to “work”. I realize that not everyone has the same opportunity and that makes me even more grateful for it. I feel like the luckiest girl alive and will strive everyday to never take my life for granted, or the many blessings I have been given. I absolutely LOVE what I do.. it truly brings me so much joy and happiness. 

Here is another photo to hold everyone over from Brittney and Landon’s shoot. I have so many pictures that I cannot wait to share. They will be online next week sometime!

I was absolutely thrilled when Robert contacted me to take pictures of he and his son, Jaden. I’m always very excited to shoot something new and different and it was a lot of fun being able to capture a dad interacting with his son! I loved the idea and had a blast with these guys. Jaden is 8 years old a ball of personality… which I adored! He was also quite the charmer… it was the day after Valentine’s Day when we shot these, and as we were walking around shooting at different spots, he picked a flower for me so I could wear it in my hair. Aw! How sweet is that!?

Like most kids… he has LOTS of energy!! I decided to let him get some of it out of his system for a while.

I adore this shot because of the way Jaden put his hand on his dad’s head. It was so sweet!! These guys definitely love each other and I am so happy I was able to spend some time capturing the bond shared between father and son. Thank you Robert & J!
