Life has never been busier for me than it is right now!! I feel like my poor little blog is definitely getting neglected because of it and that makes me sad! My goal is to one day be able to blog every single day. I’m not sure if that will ever happen, but a girl can dream right?!?
Here are a few of my favorites from Amber & Blake’s recent engagement session:
LOVE this yummy light! Mmmm…
They were such a fun couple up for anything! (love that!)
They were constantly making each other laugh – their love for each other was so obvious.
More pictures to come!! Who knows, I might even double blog today!! So check back this evening for another post possibly!!
As I prepare for a very busy weekend… I wanted to stop for a moment to blog a photo from a shoot I recently did that I think is completely adorable! I hope to catch up on my blogging soon because I have so many pictures I want to share! There are so many exciting things going on in the world of Courtney Dellafiora Photography. I couldn’t be more thrilled! Thank you all for your support and the kind things you say. It means the world and it’s truly why I love being a photographer. I hope to bring joy into all of your lives with my art.
Have a FAAAABULOUS weekend!!
Today I received this email from Lori (whose wedding photos are in the previous post) and it just reminded me how amazing my clients really are! Emails like this one are truly mind blowing because I never thought I’d be given the opportunity to have such an impact on others – and I couldn’t be happier because of it. Thank so much Lori for making my day!
Courtney,
I can’t really tell you how amazed I am. I knew you would do a beautiful job but what you put on the blog is just amazing!! I am sooo happy I went with my gut, and who made me feel most at ease. We really did hit it off sooooo good, and that is how I have explained it to anyone who asks me how I found a photographer! I had talked to so many, and it was sooo blah. Then I talked to you and when we got off the phone I felt like I had made a new friend. Thank you so much for all the time it takes to do your job so well! It is soooo worth every bit of it, and it is so cool that it is something that you can share with everyone. While I was looking at the blog I got about half way through and I was teary eyed with joy!
So great. I can’t wait to see them all.
Thanks and much love!
Lori
Lori contacted me last year through email telling me all about her big day and what she was looking for. We hit it off right away after a few emails of getting to know one another. (It’s very important to me for all of my bride’s to feel comfortable with me as their photographer, and that is why I feel like all of them become friends– which I love!) We talked about all the fun details and plans and I was thrilled when she decided to book with me. Her wedding took place in Natchez, MS at Dunleith Plantation. It turned out to be a GORGEOUS location to get married and I absolutely fell in love with the place. Lori worked with me last year on timelines as to when the best light of the day is and what time she should have the ceremony take place and etc… It was very important to her to make sure she planned everything around lighting outside so she could get the best photos- which is EVERY photographer’s dream! I absolutely loved her willingness to work with me on timelines. As a result, her photos came out amazing. I am incredibly proud of this wedding and had THE hardest time choosing some for the blog!
Lori and Reid- you are truly an inspiring and beautiful couple. It was my absolute honor to be your photographer and I’m thrilled to share your photos with the world!
Isn’t she absolutely gorgeous?
Reid made a dashing groom!
Check out the amazing cakes! I was especially blown away by that groom’s cake. Incredible!!
They make a lovely couple.
Shot with no flash, and a ISO of 5000.
Lori knew how to get down on the dance floor!
I absolutely love my job and wouldn’t trade it for the world. I feel like the luckiest girl alive to be able to do what I was created to do.
Lauren killed two birds with one stone in this session!! She is getting married this May and asked me to shoot her bridal AND maternity photos. I loved it! Maternity is so much fun because I think a woman is SOOOO BEAUTIFUL when she is pregnant so I always have a lot of fun with those sessions. (I have another maternity shoot I will be blogging soon!) And then of course when a woman is all dressed up in her wedding gown she is STUNNING! So how could I not absolutely be in heaven with shooting both!
Lauren completely rocked her shoot! Here are a few of my favorites:
Her dad had this really old phone booth in his house that was so cool!! Of course I had to use it for a shot–
Hope everyone is having a fabulous middle of the week! I recently went on a little mini vacation for a long weekend to the beaches of Destin, Florida and I had a blast! I have always loved that place and definitely wasn’t ready to come back home! I’m a true beach girl at heart. (I secretly have always wanted to be a surfer girl!!) I just love it… the sand, the sun, the waves, mmmm!!! I can’t ever get enough beach! It does absolutely nothing for my hair, but that’s something I’m willing to sacrifice for a nice tan and gorgeous atmosphere!
Anyways, you know me… I can’t go anywhere without my camera. A photo shoot always seems to present itself no matter where I am in the world. My friend Keesha (you can see her family session I shot last year here — scroll down a bit to see it) who invited me to the beach with her brought her one year old Logan. It was his first time on sand, and he loved it! We did a little shoot of him as well as of one of my really good friend Sheperd’s little girls! See below for a sneak peak of both sessions– (more to come later!)
We stayed at Destin West which was amazing!! Check out my view from our condo:
We saw this crazy looking jellyfish on the beach! It’s so colorful:

SOOOO many more to come!!
