It’s always SO HARD to narrow down favorites to post in the blog from every shoot, but ESPECIALLY weddings! It’s so difficult because I take literally hundreds of pictures and always end up having so many that I adore. However, I managed to do it once again!

Janey and Daniel were recently married and were by far one of the most laid back couples I have ever seen! Their wedding truly was welcoming and relaxed. Never did either of them stress, they just enjoyed the night which was incredibly refreshing. I am honored I was able to be a part of their big day. I hope you enjoy their images as much as I do!

If you’ve been following my blog for a while now, you’ll know that I have taken quite a lot of pictures of this little girl. Blakeleigh is my cousin’s daughter and she recently turned 3!! The birthday party was themed around The Little Mermaid which I absolutely ADORED!!! It was so girly and very pink!!! Two things I love!! : )

I’ve been photographing little Blake since she was born! I’m pretty sure if you ask her mom she’d tell you I’ve been contracted to shoot all of her pictures up until her wedding! hehe. I love it though, I am honored to play such a big part in BL’s life!

Doesn’t this cake rock?

I think my body is slowly starting to adjust back to American time. I seem to get tired early at night and want to wake up earlier than normal in the morning, but oh well!! I’m happy to be back home from Paris, but definitely miss it tons!! I loved every minute of it and can’t wait to go back- except this time I’m staying longer and visiting much more of Europe! I felt like visiting Paris was just a tease!! I will be sure to blog photos from the trip as soon as I get caught up on some “work” first!!

Before I left for Paris I shot Ashlee and Brhett’s engagement photos. I will be shooting their wedding next Spring- which will have a “country western” theme. I am so excited about that! Cowboy boots and hats! So many fun details to capture. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

I love her eyes! Beautiful!

They are both huge LSU fans! Which is one of the reasons they decided to shoot their engagement pictures on LSU’s campus.

I just arrived back home from having the time of my life in Paris, France!! EEEK!! I have tons of photos that I cannot wait to share with you all. I was there drawing inspiration for my business and the whole side of Boudoir photography that I am indulging in… and happen to LOVE! I am even more excited now about being able to offer this to women. I think it’s SUCH an amazing thing that every woman should do at least once in her life. You will feel like a supermodel… a complete rockstar! Not to mention you will have a blast doing it.

I know a lot of women struggle with not feeling pretty enough to do a shoot like this– I promise you, most women struggle with the same thoughts. I believe every woman is beautiful in her own way and it’s my desire to show you that and prove that YOU are beautiful!

Here are a couple of images from Joslyn’s boudoir shoot. I will have lots more in the near future! But for now…

Well, my beloved family, friends and followers — I am about to board a plane in a few days and make one of my biggest dreams come true!! I’m going to PARIS, FRANCE!! And this isn’t just any regular vacation either – I’m going to a Boudoir photography workshop while there. If you know a lot about me or my photography, you’ll know that Boudoir is something I am VERY passionate about. It’s always been a form of art that has always been very intriguing to me as an artist… but I was never sure if it would be something I’d really pursue as I got into my business. Over the years I’ve come to discover that I absolutely love it and want to fully dive into it. (You can see several samples on my website – www.dellafiora.com) An amazing opportunity opened up for me last fall to be able to attend the boudoir workshop in Paris with 13 other female photographers. Originally I missed out on it as they had filled all the spots before I had a chance to sign up! But I was fortunate enough that someone cancelled a few days later and next thing I know, I am buying my flight to Paris. YAY! I can’t tell you how excited I am about this opportunity. This is my first time to Europe – I am pumped! I look forward to not only learning more about my love – the art of boudoir photography – but also experiencing Paris, making new friends, and getting amazing photos that I can come home and share with you all!!

To all you ladies out there considering a boudoir session – I encourage you to make it happen. I think every woman should do a boudoir session at least once in her life. It’s something that not only your significant other will truly appreciate, but you will have SO much fun getting glammed up, feeling beautiful, and rockin’ it out for the camera. You will cherish the photos for the rest of your life.

I am really hoping I will be able to blog a little bit while there… but I have no idea what my internet conditions will be like. ALSO — I will be answering emails once I get back home. (***UPDATE– I will be back on April 9th to answer any emails or phone calls.***)

Bonjour Paris – je viens!!
