Leigh Ann and Richard may just be two of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met. Their passion and excitement for life is truly refreshing and inspiring. I enjoyed getting to know them both even if it was only for a short moment in life. I just loved being around them and felt so honored to be a part of their lives. They are both doctors living in Brooklyn, New York and traveled down to Louisiana for the celebration which is where Leigh Ann is originally from. Her Southern charm was obviously hard to resist when Rich met her in medical school. ; ) Their personalities blend so well and it’s obvious these two were meant to be together forever. I LOVE when people find their soulmate. I still pinch myself all the time with disbelief that I get to be a part of so many people’s love stories. It’s such a dream come true.

Leigh Ann and Rich: Thank you SOOOOO much… no really, SO much… for everything. You have both been such a blessing in my life and I am so grateful for your kindness. Words could never express how much I heart you both! XO

Their ceremony took place at St. Joseph’s Cathedral and their reception was held at the Country Club of Louisiana. The day went off without a hitch and everything was absolutely perfect! Enjoy a few of my favorites from their big day below.

I LOVE LOVE the next two shots Michael captured of Leigh Ann with her father right before they walked down the aisle to Richard. Wiping a few tears of excitement as her father comforts her…

These two were seriously smiling at each other almost the entire ceremony.

You two better stop it with all that cuteness!!!

Married!

Michael got this adorable closeup of them. Love it.

I really don’t think they stopped smiling at each other all day. SIIIGHHH.

So as if Rich wasn’t already an amazing groom in my book, get this… He comes to me after the first dances were over and asks me if I can take more pictures of he and Leigh Ann. I was like, “is the sky blue!?!?!” I could not believe a groom was asking me to take more photos. I was in HEAVEN. My favorite thing about shooting a wedding is obviously the couple so the more pictures I can take of them, the happier I am! The sun was setting too so it was absolutely perfect. We spent about 10 minutes shooting a few more photos outside.

Ah, these two. They are so full of life and happiness. Every time I am with them, I am constantly laughing or smiling. The energy they put off is contagious and their love for God and one another is inspiring. Caitlyn and Chaz came into my life last summer when they booked me for their wedding. After getting to know them a little better at their engagement shoot, I was completely thrilled and excited to be documenting their big day. Caitlyn was incredibly easy to work with and was so willing to take my advice on how to get the best photos on her big day. I absolutely love it when my clients are so easy to work!

The wedding went perfectly and below are just a few of my favorites from their day of love.

Lots of fun details. Caitlyn knows I love me some chandeliers!!

They had fans for each guest and on the back there was word puzzle with different things pertaining to their wedding. I quickly found their names and used the rings to highlight them. LOVED the idea of the puzzle!

This was the first time I had seen peonies in a bouquet and I fell in LOVE with them. They are seriously one of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen! So perfect for a wedding.

The bride and groom opted to see each other before the ceremony (also known as a “First Look”) which I love love love!

Chaz had a gift waiting to give Caitlyn.

Wedding time!

Even though Chaz saw Caitlyn before the ceremony, he was still so thrilled to see her coming down the aisle towards him.

Caitlyn is always smiling or laughing and I absolutely LOVE that!

Their faith and love for God was so obvious and very much a part of their ceremony.

Married!

For the first time ever, I experienced a full on wedding crasher. I could write a whole story about this woman but I will just sum it up with this photo. I just HAD to post it! Not only did she completely crash the wedding (no one knew who she was), but when I was done with the group photos, she stepped in and was trying to steal my job! (with her neon green throw away camera haha!) It was such a memory I will never forget and Caitlyn and Chaz were such great sports about it. We laughed together later when Chaz told me, “I don’t know Courtney, after we see her photos from the wedding we may want to use her pictures for our wedding album!”  ; )  (She is also in the photo above of Caitlyn walking down the aisle if you missed that.)

I love love love the next series of photos!! Caitlyn surprised Chaz with a boudoir album so we went back outside to give it to him and I loved seeing all of his different reactions.
