I think everyone already knows how I feel about Emily and Jeff. As I’ve spoken about them previously in their engagement and bridal shoot. I just adore them both!! It was truly so much fun photographing their special memories and I LOVE the photos from their day.  It has been a true pleasure working with them and I am going to let the photos tell their story. Enjoy.

Emily + Jeff: I have three words for y’all: I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!  Thank you for believing in me. xo

Hair/Makeup on entire bridal party, moms and bride: Brandi Zito

Emily and her father did a little “mini” First Look before she went to see Jeff. I love it!! Such a sweet moment.

Then for the big moment between bride and groom.

I cannot ever get enough of Emily’s laugh. It’s truly the greatest thing, ever.

She surprised Jeff with a boudoir album from our company, The Boudoir Vixen.

Then we spent some relaxed time shooting some portraits of the happy couple.

You take absolutely stunning pictures!!!! Such a beautiful couple!! I wish them all the happiness there is!!

  • Courtney Tauceda

    Wow!!! Gorgeous pictures!!! Gorgeous couple!!!

  • Mrs. Jean Liston

Loved all the pictures. I am Emily’s grandmother and did not see one picture of me with the bridge, or in the family pictures. Is it just because you did not have room for more pictures on the website? I would love to purchase a few pictures. Please advise if this is possible.

    Thank you,

    Jean Liston

Hi, amazing pictures, beautiful wedding. I would love to know the venue, please share!

When Emily came into my life a couple of years ago, I had no idea how special she would become to me! It all started with her following my work and promising she would hire me when she got engaged to shoot her wedding. She kept that promise and has been a wonderful client to work with. I’ve always really liked her, she is super sweet, extremely easy to get along with and just all around lovely!! I hired her several months ago to work with us and she has truly been such a pleasure to have as part of our lil team. I honestly get a little emotional thinking about our lil Emily and how grateful I am God brought her into my life. She is truly such a blessing.  I can’t say it enough.

I love every single one of her images!! I love that she just lets me do my thing. (Like put her in a gold leotard for her engagement shoot, or put black lipstick on her, or little wings on her, lay her on the ground, etc etc.)

She and her fiancé Jeff got married this past weekend and I will be sharing their wedding photos real soon.

Emily, you are so lovely!!! Truly. Thank you for being you. A true Southern Belle Lady. And thank you for always laughing at me and Brandi all day long. We love your laugh. :)) LOVE YOU!!

Hair/Makeup by Brandi Zito.

We started the shoot with some beautiful traditional shots of Emily.

This is Emily all day long. We make her laugh a lot. We are just that funny. :))

Then Emily let us play and get creative with her photos. We were going for the completely non-traditional, which is why we decided on doing it in the studio instead of outdoors.

Yet another shot I just love that proves Brandi and I are hilarious. Haha

How fun is that feather shoulder piece! I would feel like a Victoria Secret model with that on! All beautiful :)

  • Tracy

    Absolutely LOVE the black lipstick!!!

  • Brandi

I absolutely LOVE LOVE THIS. I love the traditional photos but the edgy ones are just the best! I wish you were in Chicago so I could have you do our engagement photos one day!

  • Wyndei

Beautiful pictures and furniture. Creative & elegant.

These two met in middle school and have been inseparable ever since. They are so cute together – total sweethearts. Emily is my office manager at the studio and it has been a joy to be a part of her wedding experience as well. She knew long before she met me or even had been proposed to, that I would photograph her memories. Everything works out for a reason – it was meant to be!!  She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet!! I can totally see why Jeff loves her. I am so excited to photograph their wedding next month!!

  • Well these two are just so freaking adorable!

  • The images given in this page have good quality and good imaginations. Thank you for capturing these moments and sharing.

I am completely in love with true love. When two people find each other, and realize they have a deep, undeniable soulmate connection. I love the kind of love stories that just inspire the very core of who you are. The movie ‘Water for Elephants’ is one of my favorite movies for this reason. It’s not only visually stunning, but the story is just so beautiful. I wanted to do a photoshoot inspired from this movie because I love it so much. I asked several vendors if they wanted to be a part of my little dream and I was thrilled with how every single one said yes! Especially Elyse Skansi of Tying the Knot Wedding Coordination. She is so talented and just had some of the most amazing ideas for this shoot. It was so much fun working with her. (On a side note to all brides: hire Elyse for your wedding! She is SO organized, professional and talented. I love her!) I shared my vision and we all were able to put together something that I am just so proud of.

It is so important for me as an artist to be able to create something a little different than the norm so I can express myself a little deeper. Show the world a deeper part of my heart. I am so grateful for everyone involved in this shoot in letting me “paint” with them.

I hope my little shoot warms your heart. xo

Vendor credits at end of post.

I couldn’t have done it without the amazing talent of these vendors!

I absolutely ADORE an intimate wedding. There is something so sweet and special about every moment. Celeste and Jim’s wedding was truly a joy to photograph. Not only are they two of the kindest people, I absolutely adore all the details they both put into their big day. It was so fitting and perfect for them both. I could feel the love packed into every moment and every look they gave each other. It was such a beautiful wedding and they are truly a beautiful couple, inside and out.

Celeste and Jim: It was such a pleasure and honor to be your photographer. I LOVE your photos. I LOVE your memories. I smiled as I looked through each image. I hope you are able to relive every moment through each capture. xo

I mean really, could they be any cuter??

SO cute.

Gah! That face! If you’re not smiling right, there is something wrong with you.

Obsessed with the groom’s cake. Um hello that looks totally real right??? And the table saw was all Jim’s idea. Genius. Most creative groom’s cake I have seen yet.

Adored the ceremony set up. So Southern charm.

A smaller wedding allows me to get much closer in the ceremony for great close up shots.

Love. Okay no really, I love them all.

We ended the beautiful night with a moment I know they will cherish forever.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE wishing lanterns. This moment brought me right back to when I released my own lantern in Thailand. I will never forget that special memory.

The End. To a beautiful beginning.

  • Mona Vizena

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful couple!

Christina and Kevin are just so darn cute. They were so easy and so much fun to work with. We were able to get some really cute shots of them before a huge dark cloud came out of nowhere and tried to ruin our shoot. Enjoy!

Hi, do you mind me asking where these were taken? They are so pretty..great work..and it reminds me of New Orleans! :):)

I had so much fun getting to know these two. They are completely adorable together and truly know how to laugh and have a good time. It was so much fun photographing every single moment of their day. It was a gorgeous day in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and I am thrilled to share a few of my favorite photos.

Kristen + Andrew: Thank you thank you thank you!!! I am truly so grateful to have been a part of your wedding experience. I hope you cherish the photos forever! xo

Every now and then my brides request to do a little mini “First Look” with their father. This moment is always so sweet.

Kristen had all of her bridesmaids wait downstairs while she got ready… their reaction seeing her for the first time was priceless.

Then she was off to see her groom for the first time.

I absolutely love these sweet moments of intimacy. This is truly what it is all about.

I love what I do. So much.

Mad props go to:The band: Black Jackets (one of the best bands I have ever seen at a wedding… pure awesomeness)
Wedding planner: Adrienne Garanich (amazing!)
Venue: The Venue (Hattiesburg) — LOVED THIS VENUE!!!!!
