I checked my mailbox, flipped through the mail, then squealed. It arrived. The Christmas card I had been waiting anxiously for… the one that was being sent out to 4000+ people across the world… the one I knew would make me feel so incredibly proud. If you read my post a few weeks back about how I went to Peru for 2 days… below is the result of my spontaneous trip to the beautiful country where a piece of my heart still resides. (Read all about it here.) I am in love with the design concept that Taylor came up with for it and only wish you could see the real thing.

There are truly no words for how honored I am to have had the opportunity to be a part of this. To know my photos are on such a beautiful card and being placed in the hands of thousands of people across the world… SPEECHLESS. Thank you Robert, Karyn, Taylor, Jenna, Chana, Pedro, Mischa, Sebastian and Alessandro. Los quiero un monton. Feliz Navidad.

Debby and Brad are yet another one of my amazing clients who live out of state. They are getting married in Atlanta next summer and while Deirdre and I were there recently for our girl’s trip, we were able to squeeze in an early and very cold engagement shoot in downtown Atlanta. These two were such troopers the entire shoot and we had so much fun! They are both so sweet and I am completely flattered that they asked this little Louisiana girl to be a part of their love story. HONORED actually. It just always blows my mind when ANYONE hires me, but when it’s someone who is from another state or country, I am just completely floored by their belief and trust in me. I am SO lucky. Every day I thank God for each and every one of my amazing clients. I truly am so undeserving of each of you.

Debby and Brad, thank you thank you!!!! I heart you both big big big. Can’t wait to see you again soon. xo

I just love the city in the background.

Such a pretty couple.

It was seriously FREEZING, but Brad and Debby made it look effortless.

Love this shot Deirdre caught:

If you know me, you know I’m gonna find some ghetto spot to shoot in even in the middle of downtown Atlanta.

Sarah completely exemplifies beauty and class. She has such a timeless elegant look about her that I completely and utterly adore! I shot Sarah’s wedding recently which I will posting soon. But for now here are a few of her bridals that were shot at Houmas House Plantation which is also where she was married.

Happy Monday Internet!

I absolutely LOVE this time of year. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Fall is by far my favorite season. I love the cool weather obviously but what I really love is the warm tones that are created because of the leaves and grass changing colors. It was a BEAUTIFUL fall day for Whitney and Max’s engagement shoot. They were such great sports as we hiked around in the country and fields to capture the perfect look for them. I absolutely love both of their personalities… so laid back and easy going and Max completely knows how to make Whitney laugh. He’s quite funny. I just adore them and can’t wait to shoot their wedding next month!!

Thank you Whitney and Max for ROCKING it… and for giving me the tremendous honor of being your photographer. xo

Whitney, you are seriously beautiful!! So photogenic.

LOVE:

They are seriously so cute!

Photos like these simply make my heart happy.

The day we shot Autumn and Trey’s shoot may have just been the most beautiful day ever!! It was perfect and I was loving every bit of it. I had the cutest couple, one of my favorite locations and beautiful light. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I had so much fun shooting these two and they were both completely up for anything which is always a major plus!! Love my clients!!

Thank you Autumn and Trey for being so amazing all around. I know how important photography is to you both and the fact that you chose me truly blows my mind. I heart you both!!

Autumn, so beautiful!!!

I LOVE Trey’s expression here because it really shows his personality.

I found a cotton field and pretty much died. LOVE COTTON FIELDS!!

Ah, love. : )

Hannah and Garrett are some of the nicest, down to earth people you will ever meet. If you read my story from their engagement photos post, then you already know that I began photographing Hannah when she was a high school senior. Then her engagement shoot, then her bridal shoot, then her boudoir shoot and now her wedding. I feel SO LUCKY to have been able to document this journey in her life and am so incredibly happy for her and Garrett.

Hannah & Garrett, thank you thank you! Never lose the happy and loving spirits you both possess. I appreciate you both so much! xo

Beautiful bride.

…and bridesmaids! Loved their dresses.

Handsome groom.

And the doors open…

As I mentioned earlier, Hannah did a boudoir shoot for Garrett… needless to say, he was excited when she handed him this little black book.

Congrats to the new couple!!!!
