…so far!!! I haven’t shot everywhere but I have shot a lot of places in South Louisiana and I’ve picked out my favorites from my experience so far. I am sure there are many more places I would love but here are just a few that are amazing.
Houmas House — definitely one of my top favorites by far. I honestly feel like this place is a little piece of Heaven on earth. If you want a dreamy, whimsical, garden-esque Southern wedding, Houmas House is the place. Not only is it beautiful but their staff are AMAZING. See the wedding below here.
Dunleith Plantation – This wedding venue is actually located in Mississippi but it is also one of my absolute very favorites. I LOVE IT. Everything about the Dunleith is just incredible. Southern charm at it’s finest. See the wedding below here.
Nottoway Plantation — ahhh, I could definitely go on and on about this breathtaking location. It is truly IN-CREDIBLE. I absolutely love love everything about it. The details are to die for. To see the wedding below go here.
Rip Van Winkle – This super whimsical and story-like location is one dreams are made of. See more of the wedding below here.
Mount Hope Plantation – this place is absolutely PERFECT for a smaller, intimate wedding. I adore it so much. See the wedding below here. And see a reception held there here.
New Orleans Museum of Art – this place is not only stunning visually but very unique with art everywhere. Definitely the perfect place for a glamorous wedding. See more of the wedding below here.
Fleur De Lis Event Center — this place is so cool. It’s newer and designed to have an “outdoor, New Orleans feel” to it. I absolutely LOVE the star lights on the ceiling and all of the street lanterns placed on the inside. See more of the wedding below here.
Oak Alley — another breathtaking Southern location that oozes with history. Shot a wedding here many years ago and loved every bit of it.
