Remember back in May when I posted this beautiful couple named Pam and Anthony? (If not, click here.) I still just love the story of how they met in Barnes and Noble and Anthony claims Pam stalked him on MySpace. That cracks me up SO much. It was OBVIOUSLY meant to be because they are such a happy couple and I have absolutely had so much fun getting to know them. Their wedding day went off without a hitch and they had one of the most gorgeous and FUN receptions I have ever been to. It was such an honor to be chosen as their photographer and I only hope I did the big day justice. I could say so much more but I would rather let the photos do the talkin’.

Pam and Anthony – you guys are completely FABULOUS in every way. Thank you SO much for the tremendous thrill and honor of being able to capture your BEST DAY EVER. xo

Fell hardcore in love with Pam’s amazing gown. GAWGOUS.

Pam and Anthony originally were a little hesitant on my suggestion to do a First Look. But in the end they decided to do so, and they were both so grateful they did. It was SUCH a beautiful moment that you’re about to see.

I love this photo!!!! PAM you work it girl.

After a few giddy moments, they decided to exchange gifts. (A First Look is an amazing time to give each other gifts because it allows us to capture the reactions and have them as memories for you to keep forever.) Anthony surprised Pam with a stunning piece of jewelry!

And then Pam surprised Anthony with a boudoir album. She had come to my studio The Boudoir Vixen a few months prior to the wedding and needless to say, his reaction was one of the most incredibly priceless I have ever witnessed. (See video at the end of this post.)  He LOVED it.

I mean seriously, could they be any hotter?

Such a good-looking group. Loved the color and style of the bridesmaids dresses.

After the beautiful reception it was time to PAR-TAY. The romantic/glamorous/chic details at Pam’s reception were to DIE for. I absolutely LOVED every single thing about it. STUNNING.  Kandice of Posh Productions did an incredible job putting all Pam’s vision together and also coordinating the whole day to make sure everything went smooth. She is AMAZING at what she does! Talent all around. Not to mention, SUPER SWEET! I highly recommend her.

I mean, seriously???

The GORGEOUS flowers and bouquets were all provided by Bella Blooms Floral. It takes a lot to impress me when it comes to flowers, and they blew me away. Highly recommend them as well.

After several of the wedding traditions and a dress change (how CUTE is that dress!!?!), Pam and her sorority sisters surprised everyone with a choreographed dance that was nothing short of fabulous.

Then it was time for one of my favorite Southern wedding traditions. The second line!

The night ended with the dance floor hopping and hearts full. Pure bliss.

A few noteworthy vendors that helped make Pam and Anthony’s wedding magical:

Kandice of Posh Productions — I don’t even need to tell you how amazing she is. Just go look at those photos of her creations!! She is truly a dream maker. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of working with her. If you want a dream wedding, she is your girl to make it happen.

Bella Blooms Floral — AHmazing flowers. They took my breath away.

Kisha of The Makeup Lab — Pam’s makeup was flawless!! Kisha did an amazing job.

Agnes of Perfect Beauty and Barber Salon — LOVED Pam’s hair. It was absolute perfection and photographed beautifully.

Ambrosia Bakery — Pam and Anthony’s cake was incredibly beautiful (as you can see). Ambrosia did an outstanding job.

BrideFilm — this company does an outstanding job of documenting your wedding day on film. Their emotional cinematic videos will bring you to tears and truly help you relive those special moments over and over again.

Speaking of BrideFilm. They sent me this incredible video of Pam and Anthony’s First Look. You will LOVE it. His reaction to her boudoir photos is PRICELESS. Check it out:

Can I just say I am LOVING this season. It’s so beautiful outside this time of year and it makes my little heart so happy to finally be able to be shooting outdoors again. I have been having so much fun with all of my clients – who are all so so fabulous in their own little way. Meet the next couple:

ADORABLE. One word that comes to mind when thinking of Rae and David. They are so cute, and so so nice. Amazing actually.  I have truly enjoyed getting to know them both and had a blast spending time with them for their engagement photos. It was such a gorgeous day and I absolutely love how their photos turned out. It was hard to choose favorites!!! But who am I kidding, it ALWAYS is!

Rae and David – thank you so much for everything! I am so honored to know you both and absolutely thrilled to be shooting your wedding next year! Can’t wait!!

Chrissy and Tate. A match made in heaven! Let me just say. I FLIPPIN LOVE THESE TWO. I cannot tell you how fun they are to be around. A total blast. The entire engagement shoot they were laughing, giggling, and just completely in their own little happy love bubble. It was truly amazing to be around. Infectious. You only have to be with them for 5 minutes and you know they are meant to be together forever. My favorite thing about them is they are BEST friends and it’s SO obvious. I think that’s how a marriage should be… full of laughter, love and being with your best friend – the number one person in your life… the person who completes you.. and makes you a better you. Chrissy and Tate are PERFECT examples of this and I am so happy they found each other. They are two beautiful beautiful souls that I adore and I’m truly thrilled to be shooting their wedding.

Chrissy and Tate- Words cannot express how lucky I am to have met you and how blessed I am to be your photographer!!! You guys are AMAZING in every way and I am so thrilled you came down from L.A. so we could get to know each other better!! YAY! See you soon! Thank you thank you! xo

Seriously, how cute are they!?

Love love.

Cindy and Dave are in love with each other and it truly shows. When they are together, it’s like no one else exists. They escape into their little love bubble as the rest of the world around them fades away. I l.o.v.e. that. They have a genuine connection – it makes my job so much fun, and I love that I was able to be a part of their many beautiful moments together as a couple. I was thrilled when they asked me to be their wedding photographer… it’s always SUCH an honor!

It was the most beautiful fall day. And it was a special day being that it was 11-11-11. Cindy and Dave were both so relaxed as they prepared for the big moment. Everything went so smoothly and everyone couldn’t have been happier to share in the excitement of this amazing day that had been planned for so long. I love the photos so much from their day and wanted to share a few of my favorites. Happy Sunday!

See Cindy’s beautiful bridal shoot here.

Cindy & Dave – thank you so much for including me on such a lovely day in your lives. I hope you love the photos as much as I do and cherish them and each other forever and ever. xo

I adore these shoes!

And I’m in LOVE with Cindy’s ring! It’s perfect! FUTURE HUSBAND TAKE NOTE. ; )

The day was SO perfect.

Cindy making her exit out of the church for their First Look.

No one else was around as they shared this incredibly beautiful and intimate moment together.

The groom checking out his bride. Love.

Cindy surprised Dave by doing a boudoir shoot at The Boudoir Vixen. His face says it all.

Then Dave surprised Cindy with one of the most beautiful rings!!!

Then we took a little time to snap some portraits of the lovely couple.

Because they chose to do a First Look, we were able to get SO many beautiful photos, that I wouldn’t have been able to get otherwise because of time and lighting. A FL is one of the best decisions a couple can possibly make for their wedding day.

Then after doing the formal shots with the bridal party, it was showtime!

As the newlyweds made their exit out of the church, their band was waiting outdoors to escort them and their guests in a “second line” march to the reception which was only a few blocks away.

First dance!

After many beautiful traditions, it was time to let loose and party the night away…

The end! Congrats to the happy couple!

In the past year, I have had the enormous honor of photographing several different photographers from around the nation. It is always so flattering that any of my clients choose me to shoot special moments in their life, but when it’s a photographer, there is definitely an extra dose of flattery that I feel. Jen is a photographer located out of New Orleans (check out her work here–> www.jenamato.com), and she contacted me several months ago wanting to set up a shoot to celebrate her and her husband’s one year anniversary. I was thrilled of course so we set a date. Needless to say, the unpredictable weather in Louisiana was NOT on our side. We ended up having to reschedule their photo shoot 5 times due to it raining every day that we would plan to do the shoot. Ugh! This was of course so frustrating but I reassured Jen that our patience would pay off, and it did. We ended up with the most gorgeous day in New Orleans for their shoot and I am so excited with how the photos turned out. Enjoy a few of my favorites.

Jen and Randy- Thank you SO much for being so easy to work with, and for the GINORMOUS honor of being able to shoot this special time in your life. I mean it when I say, it means so much. Jen, thank you for being so fabulous and so kind, and Randy, thank you for cracking me up on the railroad tracks about your reputation being in jeopardy. Haha! You guys are an amazing couple! xo

Jen found us this amazing location for her shoot. It was filled with old school trains and I loved it!

Love this photo and the amazing prop – a baby blue porsche! Uber fab.

Beautiful couple.

So, do you remember the Vintage Love Story I posted a while back? (If not, you have to see it!! Click here.) Katie and David were my amazing models for the shoot. Well, they are getting married next year and I am THRILLED to say that I will be shooting their wedding! I originally found Katie on Facebook… somehow we were friends through mutual friends and I pretty much thought she was the cutest thing ever. I could tell through her status updates and photos that she had an amazing personality and would be perfect for my vintage dream shoot. I could also see through her profile that her and David had really great chemistry and I knew they were exactly what I was looking for. I couldn’t have been more right!! After meeting Katie for the first time for a dress fitting, I realized that not only was she amazing, she had a heart of gold. After getting to know her and David both through the shoot, I developed a little  crush on these cuties. They are both so kind, positive, loving and just all around FABULOUS. The kind of people you just want to be around all the time. Katie not only has an amazing sense of style too, but she has so much positive and fun energy. They both love God with all their hearts and I just couldn’t be more honored to know them. Several months after the shoot took place, Katie contacted me to let me know that they had set a date and the best part was… they wanted me to be their photographer!!! EEK! I couldn’t have been more excited. It amazes me how God brings people into your lives to bless you with their existence. I am so happy they stepped into my life, and I am thrilled I get to be a part of this memorable time in their lives.

Katie and David – Please do not ever stop being so positive, loving and just all around wonderful. You are both amazing role models to the world. Love you guys! xo

Love.

Haha, love the last shot of the day. David pretending to be me, and Katie rocking a pose. WORK IT GIRL.
