Meet two of the happiest people on planet earth: Kelly and Jeff. Genuinely in love, and genuinely full of laughter. I could not stop snapping shots of these two. They were so easy to work with as they just acted naturally together and made my heart so happy. I adored every moment and can’t wait to shoot their wedding!!

Kelly + Jeff, thank you for being YOU and for reminding me why I love being a photographer so much. You guys are awesome. XO

Meet Rachel and Jacob. Two souls, intertwined together in love and happiness. When I look at them, I see two best friends who laugh a lot, and care about each other deeply. The entire day of the wedding, Jacob was always making sure Rachel was taken care of and always asking me if I needed him to do anything to make the photos better. LOVE THAT. He knew how important this day was and he knew how important the photos were to Rachel. It was the sweetest thing. As the beautiful day was coming to an end, he even stopped me to say how appreciative he was to me being his photographer. He told me how much he despised being in front of a camera his whole life, but how easy it was to work with me. LOVE IT. Making a bride happy is my number one priority, but when a groom expresses his appreciation to me, it takes it to a whole ‘nother level. I left with my heart feeling incredibly grateful that I am able to do what I do. I am so blessed that God has given me this talent and desire.

Rachel and Jacob – thank you for being so fabulous throughout this entire process of getting to know you. I hope you cherish your photos forever! xo

First Look time!

They were married on St. Patrick’s Day. Thus the green beer!

Adore this shot of Rachel with her bridesmaids!

Love is in the air. It’s Spring, and wedding season is in full bloom. I have another beautiful wedding to share with you today. You may remember this lovely couple from their super cute engagement shoot. These two met on eHarmony and fell madly in love. You will shortly see soon in their photos just how in love they are with each other. I love that. They are constantly just giving each other sweet loving looks and it’s truly obvious to everyone just how much they care about each other. It was such a joy to share this special day with them. They were wed at one of my absolute favorite Southern wedding venues, Dunleith Plantation. I not only LOVE this plantation, I LOVE the city it resides in. It’s truly one of the most perfect places to get married if you’re going for that historic, romantic Southern feel. I am completely enchanted by it and it couldn’t have been more perfect for this beautiful couple.

Courtney is also one of the sweetest brides I have worked with. Her kind personality is truly wonderful. She wrote a mini testimonial after we shot her engagement photos and I wanted to share that with you:
“If I had to give one word that described Courtney Dellafiora I wouldn’t be able to…one word doesn’t cover how talented, awesome, personable, patient, compassionate, and optimistic she is! Did I mention talented?! Courtney rocks! She cares about her work and her clients more than any photographer I have worked with. She is so helpful and patient and wants nothing more than for you to be stress free and LOVE your pictures. She has taken the time to get to know me and my fiance so that we don’t look at her as merely our photographer. Courtney’s passion for her job shows in every picture. No matter where you are located in this world, if you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further…Courtney Dellafiora is your girl! What are you waiting for? Go to dellafiora.com! Now! Stop reading and go! I promise you won’t regret having her as your wedding photographer! You can thank me later! -Courtney

Courtney & Justin – words could never express how grateful I am to you. It was truly an honor to be a part of your story. Love each other forever. xo

Courtney chose to do a First Look, which is truly one of the wisest decisions you can make for your wedding day. She also included her father as a part of it. He walked her to the door and then dropped her off. Which was super special.

Justin and Courtney were able to share this beautifully intimate moment together. With no one else around. It was perfect, as is every First Look.

Courtney also surprised Justin with a boudoir album during their First Look. She had her shoot done at my studio The Boudoir Vixen. Her bashful look is priceless!

I think he loved it, without a doubt. ; )

After they shared their moment, we took some time to grab some portraits.

Because they did a FL, we were able to photograph all of the bridal party photos before the ceremony as well. Saving tons of time and getting everyone to the reception SO much sooner! And on a side note, I must say, these groomsmen were some of the coolest I have ever worked with. Instead of dreading photos, they just had fun with it which made the photos awesome. Kudos to these guys.

Such a sweet moment between best man and groom. ; )

Beautiful ladies!

Ceremony time! One of my FAVORITE things about Dunleith is that the bride arrives in a carriage with her father. LOVE IT. So royal.

Love this moment of Courtney checking out her wedding band.

The End to a beautiful day, and the beginning of a beautiful story.

Meet Kyle and Michelle. They met while in their freshman year of high school and the rest is history. They have been together for over 10 years and now they are planning to join together as husband and wife next Spring. I absolutely enjoyed getting to know them during their engagement shoot. It was a lovely Southern day, as we could feel the summer heat already approaching us. (We don’t get much of a winter or spring in Louisiana.) I love the photos from their shoot and have chosen a few of my favorites to share with you!

Michelle & Kyle – I am SO honored to be your photographer and be a part of this extremely special time in your life. I look forward to the big celebration of your wedding day! Thank you so much for everything. xo

I mean, are they cute or what!?

It was a lovely day for a wedding in Southern Louisiana. A beautiful couple, who loved each other deeply, were preparing themselves to be joined together in body and mind forever. You may remember this lovely couple from their engagement shoot or Lindsay from her bridal shoot. The entire day went smoothly and beautiful memories were made. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from their special day!

Lindsay and Coby – thank you so much for including me on your wedding memories. I am thrilled and honored. I hope you cherish the photos forever! xo

Love love the next series of photos of Lindsay with her brother and stepmom.

First Look time! Love, love, love.

Lindsay surprised Coby with a boudoir album that she had made at our studio The Boudoir Vixen. Needless to say, he loved it.

Wedding season is back and in full effect! Love this time of year. I love shooting weddings. I love being infected with it’s pure bliss, love and happiness. I am truly so lucky that I get to be a part of so many people’s wonderful stories. I am one lucky girl. Nikki and Terry started off my wedding season this year and it was a wedding to remember. You may remember these two lovebirds from their engagement shoot or from Nikki’s bridal shoot. They met in elementary school and over 20 years later fate would bring them together as husband and wife. They have been a pure joy to work with from day one and I am thrilled to show you a glimpse into their wedded bliss.

Thank you Nikki and Terry for being so amazing from the start. I have truly enjoyed spending every moment with you. You are WONDERFUL. Thank you thank you. xo

Nikki and Terry decided to see each other before the ceremony. We all know what I am going to say, BEST DECISION EVER. It really makes the day go so much smoother and also gives you a beautiful intimate moment together that you wouldn’t have otherwise.

Parent’s dances:

This is why I adore Nikki:

The end to a beautiful night.
