Meet Rae and David, two of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. You may remember them from their super cute engagement session here. Rae is so sweet and laid back, and has been a true gem to work with. David completely adores Rae, it is so incredibly obvious by the way he treats her. Overall, the way these two carry themselves make it easy to see why they are in love and chose to be joined together forever. On the wedding day it was supposed to POUR. I was truly nervous for how I was going to shoot this outdoor wedding with the kind of weather that was predicted. But thankfully, God decided to push the rain and clouds away… even so much that the sun came out by the time the ceremony began. It was truly amazing.  This amazing couple deserved nothing less and I was so excited to see it turn into such a lovely day.

Rae and David: thank you thank you, truly and sincerely, from the bottom of my heart… for giving me the enormous honor of being your wedding photographer. I am forever grateful.

Rae looked stunning as she walked to her First Look to see her handsome groom.

This moment was truly hilarious. David and the best man busted out mullet wigs. SO FUNNY.

Don’t they just look so happy? LOVE IT.

Meet Tiffany and Taylor.  One of my adorable couples getting married this summer. They live in Houston but will be getting married in New Orleans next month and I am completely thrilled to be their photographer. They have been so easy and fun to work with. Because of their busy schedules, I flew in to Houston to photograph their engagement photos a couple of weeks ago. It turned out to be a gorgeous (and windy!) day in Texas and I really enjoyed spending time with the engaged couple. Can’t wait for the big day!

Tiffany and Taylor, thanks for being so fab!! I can’t wait to see you very soon for the wedding!! xo

Happy Friday to you sweet world wide web, you. I hope you are having an amazing day. The weekend is here and I’m preparing for a wedding tomorrow in New Orleans but before I do I wanted to share photos with you of another one of my beautiful couples! Meet Anika and Josh. Are they gorgeous or what? It was one of the prettiest days I’ve seen as we walked around in one of my favorite enchanted gardens, photographing their love for one another. I love what we got and hope you enjoy them as much as I do!!

Anika and Josh: thanks so much for giving me this opportunity to photograph your wedding! I am truly honored and can’t wait for the big day!

I believe in true love, deep passionate romance and eternal laughter. I believe in soulmates. I believe that when two people who are made for each other, are lucky enough to find one another… there are unicorns dancing and celebrating in some other universe. Rainbows are formed and glitter starts falling from the sky when true love is found. Okay, I am joking… maybe. ; ) But really, I do believe in true love and all it’s many wonders. I believe that love conquers all. It is more powerful than we realize and can change a person’s life in ways that are unimaginable. I am so honored to be a wedding photographer and be able to document little moments of deep love for people to cherish forever. It is honestly so overwhelming for me at times. The emotion I feel through my couples is something that inspires me more than I could ever explain. Katie and Jason are a perfect example of all that I am describing. Their love for one another is abundantly obvious and it was a true honor to be a part of their special day. They literally did not stop smiling or laughing together the ENTIRE day. They are so in love with each other and it made me fall in love with my job even more. Looking through these photos you would never know what this amazing couple has been through. During the planning of their wedding, there were many disasters that occurred. Things that would make any couple want to just say screw it and elope. It seemed nothing was going right for them. Bad thing after bad thing happened, but Katie and Jason remained true to themselves and the dream they had of being married and having a beautiful wedding. They never let anything tear them apart and I believe that is why their love is stronger than ever. They are two people to be admired for their love and happiness throughout hardships. And I am honored to not only be their photographer, but simply just to know them.

Katie and Jason: words could never tell you how thankful I am that you not only chose me, but you trusted me throughout everything. I am so glad I was able to be a part of your amazing journey. Never stop loving each other. xo

I fell in love with Katie’s beautiful, whimsical wedding gown.

Katie incorporated a few of her grandmother’s items into her wedding day which I loved.

Chandeliers in the trees!? YES PLEASE.

Katie and Jason chose to see each other before the ceremony, also know as a First Look.  I am SO glad they did because we were able to capture some very intimate and priceless moments.

LOVE this:

See, they just never stop smiling. : )

Ceremony time!

How can you not smile so big when you see this photo?

What a beautiful evening for a beautiful couple. I am so blessed.

Meet Heidi and Clayton, another one of my fabulous couples. I truly am so blessed to have such amazing clients. Sometimes I honestly cannot believe it. God’s blessings in my life overwhelm me because each of them are a reminder of his deep love for me. Every time I have the opportunity to photograph another couple’s love story, I am truly humbled and grateful to be a part of their lives. They live in NYC but are getting married in Louisiana where they are from later this year. While they were here on a short visit recently, we got together to capture this special time in their life. It was so much fun getting to know them and I can’t wait for the wedding!

Heidi and Clayton: thank you for being so wonderful all around. It has been an honor getting to know you!! Thank you for choosing me! xo

You may remember this adorable couple from their engagement photos shot a while back. The wedding day had finally arrived. The weather was perfect and the bride and groom were anxiously ready to profess their love for each other in front of their friends and family. The entire day went smoothly and the celebration was a day I know they will remember and cherish for the rest of their lives.

Chase and Ashley: it was an honor to be a part of the best day of your lives. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of it. xo

Ashley and Chase opted to do a First Look, which as you know in my experience, is one of the best decisions you could make on your day. It makes everything a million times better.

During the First Look, Ashley surprised Chase with a boudoir album from our studio The Boudoir Vixen. He was totally thrilled to say the least as he looked through her stunning photos!
