Morgan + Grady :: Engagement

As you may have noticed, I haven’t posted a regular outdoor session in quite some time. That would be because summer in Louisiana is M I S E R A B L E. No joke. The humidity in this state is unreal during summer months. Because of this, I don’t shoot outdoors during the summer in Louisiana. Photo shoots are meant to be fun and it can only be so much fun when we are all sweating profusely. It ain’t pretty. I always let my clients know this in advance so we can plan accordingly around that miserable heat. : ) I take major pride in my work and I am always making sure we have the best situations so that everyone can be comfortable and get the most out of their photography experience. This is SUPER important in achieving the best photos possible.

The weather in Louisiana has finally starting cooling off. Which I am SO SO SO excited about. I finally get to shoot outdoors again! Morgan and Grady were my first outdoor session of the fall and what a perfect shoot to start it off with! Grady is a farmer and Morgan thought it would be perfect to do their engagement shoot on his farm. LOVE IT. I can’t think of a more perfect setting for these two. Grady was super awesome to pick a few vegetables for a veggie basket and he even picked some flowers from his garden to incorporate into the shoot. What a great fiance’ right!? : ) These two were super fun and easy to work with and I had so much fun shooting their engagement photos. Enjoy a few of my favorites!

Morgan & Grady, thanks for being so much fun and so easy to shoot!! I am looking forward to your wedding! xo

A John Deere tractor always makes for a great prop!

So cute.

Deirdre came along with me to the shoot to help and she got this great shot:
