It was a few days before New Years, Emily emailed me, “Courtney, we decided to get married this Saturday. Yes, this Saturday, New Years Eve. Are you available?” EEEEEK! Steven and Emily were originally scheduled to tie the knot in April, but decided to be super spontaneous and turn their engagement party into their actual wedding. Love it. I usually go somewhere out of the state for New Years, but something told me to stay home this year. I guess my intuition was spot on! It turned into a beautifully intimate day with only close friends and family. They were wed at her mother’s house, which couldn’t have been more special or perfect.
