The day was perfect, the bride and groom were perfect, and their love for one another was perfect! Mark and Mindy have been two of the easiest clients I have ever worked with! They are incredibly easy going and full of happiness. Mindy’s sweet and shy personality is undoubtedly a perfect match for Mark’s funny guy personality. He is constantly making her laugh and feel at ease. It was completely adorable in every way. Below are a few of my favorites from the big day that was held at White Oak Plantation.

Mindy and Mark opted to do a “First Look” before their ceremony. I cannot say enough good stuff about what a GREAT idea this is. It’s not only SUCH a beautifully intimate moment shared between the bride and groom, but it gives us time to get beautiful photos before the ceremony. We were able to do their bridal party photos before as well! I know the “First Look” goes against “tradition” and a lot of couples are worried it’ll take away from that moment of the bride coming down the aisle to her groom. But quite the contrary… the couples that have done it have never regretted it and have always felt it was one of the best decisions they made.
Mark was so excited and anxious to turn around and see her.

They were SO excited to see each other! Both of them were smiling from ear to ear. I’m pretty sure a couple of tears even started to form. It was such a beautiful moment.
Michael got Mindy’s expression from this side and I LOVE it. Mark got choked up again when Mindy came down the aisle towards him during the ceremony. The “First Look” didn’t take away from that special moment whatsoever.
