The last wedding of the year is always a little bittersweet. I am always so grateful for all of my wonderful clients throughout the year. It is so much fun not only capturing love, but getting to know each couple and their different personalities and stories. Being in the business of love is truly a huge blessing to me and I cherish every single wedding. Kayla and Ronnie’s wedding was the perfect way to end my 2012 weddings. The weather was perfect, the couple was in love and joy was in the air. These two have been so wonderful and easy to work with. From the moment we met, they trusted me. When my clients trust me, it makes my heart so happy. Knowing I will be able to give them something that they can cherish and remember forever is something I don’t take lightly. And a client’s trust in me is the absolute best thing they can do when they hire me. It allows me to do my job so much better. I am so happy I was able to be a part of this special day.
Ronnie and Kayla: Thank you for everything you have done. Thank you for your trust and belief in me. I hope you cherish each other and the images forever.
One of the biggest suggestions I make for your wedding day is seeing each other before the wedding. I know it can seem like a crazy idea when you first hear it, but I PROMISE you it’s one of THE BEST decisions you could ever make. No one ever regrets it. The First Look is a beautiful thing.
I love they got to share this special moment in an intimate setting. With no one else around.
Because Ronnie and Kayla took my advice on the First Look, we were also able to do all the group photos BEFORE the ceremony. The family, the bridal party, etc. It also gave us time to take tons of the couple.
We wouldn’t have had time to get all of these special portraits if they had chosen to not see each other before.
Another amazing thing is because we did all the photos beforehand, Kayla and Ronnie were able to literally walk right out to their car and head to the reception. AWESOME.
Because we did the First Look, it also allowed me the chance to beat all of the guests to the reception. Giving me the opportunity to photograph the room without guests in it. AWESOME AGAIN.
