Tiffany’s Kind Words

I know I have said it approximately 2,237 times, but I just adore my brides. They know how to make a girl feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Tiffany is no exception of this. She has truly been a GEM to work with from day one. She has not only been extremely kind and laid back, but she trusted me throughout the entire process. (Best thing any bride can do!) She recently sent in a few extremely kind words expressing what she thought of her experience with me as her wedding photographer. She also shares her opinion on doing a First Look. Be sure to read this if you’re struggling on whether or not to do it at your wedding.

“Photography was an extremely important part of my wedding. I have to confess that even prior to getting engaged I stalked wedding photography blogs. I went back and forth between Courtney and one other photographer. The deciding factor was her style of photos. I felt that I could feel her passion and love of photography through her pictures. I can say that I do not regret this decision at all. My pictures are stunning and I get compliments daily. I know that Courtney made Michael and myself feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She truly loves what she does and you can tell.

Michael I decided to do a “First Look”. I 100% would tell future brides to do a first look. Overall I consider myself to be a very traditional person, but once looking at Courtney’s blog and reading all the comments about doing a first look I was swayed to the direction of pro-first look. I won’t even lie I did get some funny looks from friends and family who thought it was extremely non-traditional to see the groom before the wedding. But it was honestly one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I got married on a Friday night and therefore my wedding started later than normal. In doing the first look, Courtney was able to capture photos that time may not have allowed immediately following my Catholic church ceremony (which ps was over 1 hour long because the priest was a relative). I loved how Courtney makes your first look completely private. No family or friends were there. Just Michael and I. I loved the intimacy she created to put Michael and myself at ease. I could probably go on and on about the positive aspects to the first look.  DO THE FIRST LOOK; you won’t regret it!!!

Overall our experience with Courtney was extremely positive. I had a rather small wedding and I felt that Courtney captured great moments throughout the wedding day. I think every bride anxiously awaits her wedding images and album, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome. -Tiffany”
