I officially have 6 weddings and 3 engagement shoots to blog. But hey, I will catch up someday! The new studio opening put me WAY behind on blogging. If you haven’t noticed I have been pretty MIA lately. But I am proud to say the studio is almost finished (finally) and is open for business starting TODAY! YAY!! I have been working SO hard on it and along with keeping up with clients, marketing, training Deirdre (new assistant) and all the other million responsibilities I have, blogging has definitely taken a hike to the bottom of the priority list. SIGH. But like I said, I will catch up.
Let’s start with Shannon and Michael: The day was beautiful. The rain stayed away. The bride and groom were overwhelmed with excitement and everything went off without a hitch. Nothing could have made that day more perfect and the photos are proof of that. The bride looked gorgeous (check out more of her from her bridal shoot here) and the groom was relaxed and ready to be forever united with his beautiful soulmate.
Shannon and Michael, thank you so much for including us on the biggest day of your lives. I am so honored and hope you cherish the photos for years to come. xo
The lovely bride getting ready.
The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. John’s Cathedral in Lafayette.
The First Look has quickly become one of my absolute favorite moments of a wedding day for those bride and grooms who chose to include it in their plans. It is truly such a beautiful and intimate moment that I am SO honored to be a part of each time. More and more of my clients are deciding to do it and none of them have regretted it yet. It’s actually so hard not to get teary eyed at each one because I feel so caught up in their love. Shannon and Michael are yet another couple who’s First Look was super emotional and sweet.
I love the next 2 photos Michael captured of Shannon’s tears of joy. I love that we get to be a part of such amazingly happy moments.
A sweet kiss after exchanging gifts between each other.
It was beautiful day and I couldn’t have gotten prettier light or a more beautiful couple!
Love this.
Shortly after that it was SHOWTIME.
Married!!
I’m ending this post with this picture that I love! A sweet dip and kiss with the 3 youngins’ looking at them and not sure what to think. Priceless.
